Kitchen sink choked

Interesting thing happened...my kitchen sink choked...stayed in this house less than 4 years...it just choked...tried all mean...even my FIL came out to help...but still...zzz...water just dun flow out...so...everything is WET WET WET :(~~~~~~~~~

End up...have to ask my regular air con service guy to recommend some expert to me...so in comes james...hehe...look at my pipings...he went...hmm...the person who did my pipes...hmm...better not say...hahaha since i am staying here...machim like ghost story like that...anyway...he is good...look look see see already...he went to get his vaccum cleaner...came back and SUCK...immediately...it got cleared!!!...BRAVO! :)...to be doubly sure...SUCK again!!!...woooooooooooooooooooooooo...the hearing of water flow down the drainage pipe after 4 days is SHIOK...Thank God leh...he helped to taped up the rest of the joints and test...no leak in anyway...really EXPERT!!!

Have been a long time since last update here already...wiselyn new look already become normal look...hair long already...got some very very cute hair clips...haha...in AMK hub one of the those small booth...

anyway this afternoon...was wandering China sq area after service...was lead to this place...very nice one!...inside got cafe one woh...but sunday closed...great place for gathering and fellowship leh...realised the area there also got lotsa of eateries on a lazy sunday crowd...guess we got kind of used to maxwell road environment liao...hehe...can explore other places like the Hans nearby...very big hor!...

we went there today to feed clara's brunch...the place very nice...:)

I am glad to announce that confinement is over for me...and my MIL have gone home last thurs. From today onwards (01/10/07) i will be alone at home with Clara.Hopefully all will be well...

Jackson Kopitiam No More

For all foodies out there...for your info...the Jackson Kopitiam is no more with effect from 24 Sept 2007...think they are going to do some road widening project or something...so...while walking home this evening...took some pics for keepsake purposes...indeed this kopitiam had been visiting since my part time days in Kallang Way as a printing assistant...where my aunt will bring me there for lunch...then followed by air force days...when going to PLAB will pass by this place and brought back memories...

then now working quite near to the kopitiam, we did come here for the ba chou mee and five spices food...which to me is the best combo for any meal...for the ba chou mee...MUST DOUBLE OR TRIPLE the vingear!!!...SHIOK!!!

then the 5 spices here...usually pple will say...wow so expensive...but hor..ate before expensive one yet not nice ones...so here...to me is worth the $$$ lor...haha

the good news is...my 2 fav stores...have not moved far far away...they are just a stone thrown away distance...they are now in the revamp kopitiam nearer to the 7-11 store...for those who are familiar with the area shd know where i mean...if dunno...yet want to try...can always ping me and ask!...dun paiseh hor...haha...the rest of the jackson kopitaim store...think they shift to some golden dunno what place...glance from the banner hanging outside the tearing down place

Our Bundle of Joy

After 10 months of waiting, our bundle of joy finally arrived on 280807..she is a darling..we named her Clara, the name clara means bright (as in the light is bright)..and her chinese name is Si En (思恩)...below is some photos of her when is just arrived...as of today she is just one week old...

Wiselyn's 2007 birthday...she received a SURPRISE from the SEPT MTBs forum gang...the 帮凶 members are...Meko, Irene, Rachael and Magoo...me help help a bit by giving wiselyn's company's address to them so they can sent the flowers to her :)

This is the Pine Garden Triple Chocolate cake...celebrate wiselyn's birthday at my parents' place...they are really happy to be celebrating her birthday...usually is we tian mi mi 2 person world...this year...hmm...just tot of to celebrate with them...THE CAKE IS SUPERB!!!!...SUPER RICH IN CHOCOLATE!!!...then washed the cake down with my mum's kopi o...ohhhhhhhhhh :)

Cant remember which day was this...me and wiselyn were going out in the evening...the sky 'picture' was just so beautiful...so just snap one picture...there was another one...with a taxi in it...and the uncle dun want to drive off while we are snapping the picture...haha...maybe he also wants to be in the picture...haha

This is the latest picture...hehe....just last friday only...we had a sumptuous dinner in Sushi Tei in Seragoon Garden!!!....this is a great place to go for lomantic dinner...or a group outing...BUT MUST REQUEST FOR THE SECOND FLOOR ONE!!!....superbly japanese!..the picture is or shd say was our sasahmi...of all sushi shops...we still tink sushi tei quality is the best one leh...hehe...we had other food like cold tofu, wiselyn fav food...dunno how to spell...haha...tried their pineapple ice cream...execpting some creamy stuff...but...come in the shape of a pineapple slice...grab one...test like pineapple ice...coolz...expecting to chew pineapple...but dun have leh...just ice and pineapple juice...hehe...unique to us :)

after today checkup with woody...clara's arrival estimated by him will be 27 aug...no change...everything is great and cool...she is comfortable inside...hehe...not ready to come out yet...so we wait...which is good...me and wiselyn can finish our loose ends at work...then prepare to on leave liao

can't wait to hold clara in our hands...we thank you Lord for forever love, grace and hope....Amen!

Tomolo thursday...the preview to our on leave day on friday...we are planning to go for 717 durians...haha...craving for durians leh the 2 of us...haha...BITTER DURIANS here we come!!!

on friday...hehe...we are going for Harry Potter show...if did not remember wrongly...hehe..the last show we watched also harry potter leh...haha...so that means...about 1-2 years no watch movie in cinema liao..

getting more and more excitied for the coming of our princess clara...hehe...now about 2.5 kg but wiselyn feedback still dun really feeling the weight...Thank God leh...now about 32-33 weeks...in mrs wong class...37 weeks onwards can deliver baby already...hehe...but depends on when clara wants to come out also lor...hehe

yeah...the shopping bug is back!!!...Great Singapore Sales GSS starts liao...me and wiselyn yesterday went to BHG in bugis...thinking to get some more clothes for bb clara...got a few...Fox Baby clothes..indeed very nice!!...SO CUTE...HAHAHAHA...speaking from a uncle that dunno much abt shopping...but their clothes really melt my heart lar...haha...yet to take any pictures leh...kind of lazy now...haha..will try lar...hehe...soon also lor...haha

This day...early early go out already...got to visit the dentist...Dr Leong for out regular checkup...slightly more than 6 mths already...as wiselyn was in her first trimester when hit 6 mths...Dr Leong advised 3 trimester also dun see him...so...here we are...9am Camden Hospital...woh!!!!...a Limo Cab down...the lady driver very cute...also tell wiselyn what to eat...what cant do or eat...then said she swam till late in her preggie stage...hehe...then said she also dun care what pple said...then told her...same same lor...what abt the dos and donts...as long mummy is happy...baby inside sure happy one! :)

After the checkup...we went down Tanglin Mall to walk...nothing much...as it was abt 10am...then followed by Forum to look for things for bb clara...also still early...not much shops opened...next stop...Wisma...wiselyn said clara is kicking her...meaning hungry liao...hehe...want to eat Thye Hong Fried Prawn Noodle...see below picture...kind of wet today...like a flood..hehe...for pple who wants to eat prawn noodle in orchard road...can eat...$4 for the smallest plate...next followed by the desserts...no pics...cos refer to the previous pics for the chendol...wiselyn took bo bo cha cha...ice one some more...hehe...she said nice

Fast forward...we tot of going Mr Ang's shop to get more stuff for bb clara...but he will only be in the shop after 5pm...we dropped by our AD place for some relaxing moments...we went SAM olio dome...miss the place there :)...got some deep feelings for this place!!!...the pictures showed a revamp...at least the paint works lor...previous we wen there...some parts are peeling off already...then not so nice already...now mei mei liao!!!...WHITE colour!!!

The Glass Hall...the carpet changed already...now super clean and nice...hehe...different colour also...now blue colour...much neater...the celling also painted WHITE...hehe

Next at Olio Dome...for our tea break liao...hehe...feel hungry leh...looks like the prawn noodle is digested already...vanished!...order their Hawaiian pizza lor...HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR PIZZA...CRISPY!!!...me had ginger latter...wiselyn had iced cappa....and recommended that got liquor taste one...hmm...bonus!...haha

After that...we dropped by Mr Ang's shop in Loyang Point...guess where it is...hehe...from 5 stayed till 8...shopping time little...toking time a lot...haha...will take the pictures soon! :)

These 2 pictures was taken before going in the morning for my family's Mother's Day gathering at Taka Crystal Jade...yeah...it was 10 am...from the picture...could the flower being seen from the near death branches?

this pot of chilli plants are being planted quite some time bad...me put too many seeds...thus it seems over crowding there...never bother much about the pot...only to water once a while...until this morning wiselyn told me there is a flower...me went huh??!!!

wow...really have lor...hehe...thus the heading...hehe...hope does not sounds too serious hor!! :)

the gathering was a great one...we ate tim sum...yeah...my brother managed to rush out from malaysia to join us for the makan...rush for him...tough too...got to work on sunday??!!!...yeah

Walk, Makan, Buy

In the morning, me went down market...the fridge no more food already...this time bought more food...hehe...wiselyn's sister staying with us for the coming week...also the up and coming sept mtb gatherings...we will be having potluck...we will be in charge of curry chicken...hehe...got 20 pcs of chicken wings with mid joints...hehe...prepare for the feast!!!

After wise packing and stuff and me ironed the clothes for the week...we rushed down to Joewe Centre...it is a infant care that we are planning to put baby clara there...tot to go and see the place before going on a formal tour there...the place is in seragoon north area...near to wiselyn's workplace!...good lor...we walk walk...recon recon the place...me and wiselyn ok with the place...yeah...will tok with the principal with the details soon...this year also like many babys lor...better chop fast also...hehe

we went AMK HUB for a walk around...to us...nothing much to see....except for the baby stuff store...hehe...yeah there is a Cerisi shop...good...we tot the clothes selling there is of good quality and resonable price also...hehe...will sure visit there again

soon...we finished walking the AMK HUB...seems like nowadays...these shopping mega mall does not appeal to us at all...all look the same one...the few major players of electrical, makan, boutique etc etc...

next stop...orchard road...wiselyn suggested to go CK Tang to see bb stuff...when we reached there...the bb stuff area is like a corner only...not a lot of stuff also...hehe...next wisma for our tea break!...have to say their chendol is very thumbs up lor...the sweetness and coconut amount is just nice...hehe...then my 咖啡瘾发作...TIME FOR COFFEE!!!

we went to Toast Box...which was a few stores away..hehe...wow...the quene was LONG!!!...realise their pattern of ordering could be the problem...to me lar...anyway their food is also nice...hehe...their toast is thick thick kind...a tad bit oily for us...to go with the coffee is nice!!!

Dinner time...we went to the food court...like nothing we want to eat...ZOOM...we went back Hougang Mall for fried fish soup...hehe...the fish not nice one...MSG filled to me...yucks!!!...after that we went to the dessert store...for a round of desserts...that is GREAT!!!

By now tired liao...shag out...hehe...Thank you Lord for the blessings You have in our Life!!!　:)

Today is Labour day....and is a holiday...at about 7 plus in the morning i was awaken by Clara's kick....she is hungry already. So i woke up and had my breakfast...

After breakfast, me and Clement laze around for awhile till about 11 plus...decided to go to Kovan for lunch...wanted to eat the yong tau fu there..but reach there..no more, the shop close already...

So we decided to go for chicken rice instead...not a bad choice after all...

The queue for the chicken rice at Kovan is so long...so look at the photo..

Good and Cheap chicken rice...half chicken and 2 rice only $8.60...see me and Clement finished all...

After lunch we go Heartland Mall to walk walk...went to a shop that sells Christian stuff...Clement bought a CD and me got him to buy a CD for Clara (can see the CD at Clara's link) the songs nice nice...After that we go a shop selling baby stuff (Cheri) to check out the clothes there...nothing we like...dun like the materials of the clothes, think Maxcool ones better...

Clement called Mr Ang to check if he have any lobang for Maxcool clothes...then understand from him that Maxcool is Kiddy Palace brand...so no choice lor, means no lobang...but we know Mr Ang sells baby clothes lar...so will drop by his shop to see see look look again one of these days..but before that..we decide to drop by Bugis Junction's Seiyu (BHG) to take a look..heard from a friend that they are having sales for baby clothes. And what's the outcome, we bought some clothes for Clara (can see in her blog), and we decide that all those "home wear" clothes we will get from Mr Ang...

After that we go United Square...nothing we fancy there...after that go to Max Brenner with my sis for a cup of coffee...chat alot..talk about god also...then it's time to go home liao...that ends my holiday :(..tommorrow is another working day...

But glad that today is a good day...

Supposed to meet up with the mummies of Sept 07...due to working commitments...we could not meet up so cancel the gathering earlier in the week...this afternoon ask some of them....last min we could meet up...hehe

so we met baby_piglet (eileen) and irene at this place in marina square called Changing Appetite...had some western food and drinks...food so so to below average...but hor...highly recommend the lychee ice smoothie kind of drink...VERY SHIOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKK...hehe...wiselyn drank a cup...very nice...so we left the place and want to drink chocolate drinks...hehe

at first tot of going to ritz carlton for kopi...eileen no drink...then decided to go drink chocolate...tot of max breener...wow...superb leh...long q...then me went up to level 2 to see other shops got spaces or not...chocz has space...so we settled there and ROOTED till 11pm...we sure tok and tok...hehe...wiselyn also tired liao...we make our way home as the shop is closing too...shag out...haha

This day we supposed to go joewell...an infantcare near our place one...but oops...wake up too late liao...hehe...then will meet UK Cindy and Clara's God parents for lunch in J8...yeah...J8 again...just been there on thursday...but most convienece for all of us lar...hehe

we settled for MOS burger...hehe...we sat there from 1230 till 3pm...haha...faintz hor...we just tok and tok liao...hehe

walked around...cindy got a top from ebase...realise they used Sam and Kevin plastic bag...then me mouth itchy and ask...how come used S&K one...then one kind young lady told me...cos they same management one...then me went OH OH

we parted ways with friends...and decided to go marina area...yeah friday just went only...haha...we tot can go see see look look clothes for bb clara...we walked around...concluded...

1) Kiddy place...the clothes...eg max kool nice to touch, design simple...one pc abt $5..

2) Mothercare...their going out clothes very nice...per set about $20...the quality is good lor...very nice to feel the clothes

3) Suntec area...have many small small shops...just reno finished ba...dunno will have bb wares shop or not...hehe

Truly a blessed weekend for us...thanks for the friends around us...thanks for the advice we got...thanks for the ability to share with other pple...freely given freely give!!!! :)

Makan in Bishan

Thursday, me and wiselyn went bishan pasta manic for makan with my company's brothers in Christ...3 of them managed to come to join us for dinner...they are Donny, Linus and Jack...no picture on Donny as he went off early to grab dinner for Venny...Hope all is well for Venny.

We ordered each a pasta, wiselyn ordered a Hawaiian Pizza...still love their pizza...thin and crispy crust...yummy...hehe

After that we went to bishan Olio Dome for some more chatting and phototaking??!!...sudden urge...might want to get a handphone with camera one...haha...then can go around and take pictures...hehe...no need to bring camera out!...hehe

Hi it's me this time round...

Was on half day afternoon leave today...due for detail scanning today.

Meet Clement at Novena MRT. I reached earlier at abt 1:10. Waiting for him and he reached about 1:35.

As usual, lunch was at MOS burger. After our lunch, Clement says he wants to get a drink at his ex-colleague shop, so we want there..we were there about 2:30. So i thought, let him chat awhile lor..but once he starts he never stops...then me hinted him abt time, he don't get it..so in the end, we leave his ex-colleague shop at abt 2:50. Need to rush, and me argue with him on the way to TMC. (cos we need to do lots of things ) He keep telling me he will settle everything nicely, but still angry, so dun really want to talk to him . When we going to cross the overhead-bridge, he saw his ex-colleague. He want over to say hi..me give him the impatient look. So he never talk, then we rush to TMC fourth flr, so clement went to register for me. He ask nurse can pay later, nurse say she register first then we go apply for FBI, will call us once it is our turn.

So off we went to 3rd florr...thought can signed up FBI there..but not the right place. FBI signing up is on the 1st flr. So again we rushed down to first floor to signed up FBI, lots of form to fill up.
After signing for FBI, run upstair 3rd flr to pay for Antental Course.Guess who we saw..the famous antenal teacher Mrs Wong.Wow! saw her handling a baby, she is real good!She cuddle the baby, baby no cry, once passed to the daddy baby cry again.

Anyway after that, we go back 4th flr Clement, went to make payment and the nurse say my turn already. So he pay and it's time for the scan. Details of scan and pictures will be posted on our baby's link.

After that, we rushed down to see woody...waiting time was not long...we were quite early..see woody, passed him the report, he see already say everything okay...me ask him about my weight (cos clement's mother got ask before if i put on). He ask me stand on the scale...57.6kg. I think increase by about 1 kg plus...anyway 400g belongs to clara..

See woody already, time for dinner...was actually thinking of dinner at compass pt, but Clement dunno what to eat..so we took train to HG Mall...I eat mee goreng and he eat roast pork rice. Dinner was great...we walk around HG Mall for awhile then we went for desert...Clement ordered the wrong thing again...but lucky he realised that at the counter and the auntie so nice allow him to change..if not then me got no peanut paste to eat, must eat zi ma hu...

After dessert, time to go home...what along and tiring day...

P.S. Dear Dear, sorry that me shouted at you when we rushing to TMC...i was frustrated..but i know i should not flare...i should try to keep my cool and trust that you can (with god's help) make everything right...I got to tell you that i appreciates your effort that you put in to make things right...Love u....

WHAT IS BPC???!!!

yeah...it has been ringing for a few weeks in the sg mummies forum...haha...so this evening went to this kopitiam along Still Road for BPC...called Eng Seng lar...turn in from Joo Chiat Place...would and shd not miss it lar...old old kind of kopitiam one...haha

total 7 persons went for this gathering: Magoo (Organiser), Clement, Wiselyn, Irene and Hubby, Low and Hubby

We ordered: BPC (of cos lar)...4 pcs of middle size crabs...speciality dish leh...a plate of mee goreng...fried you tiao and veg...highly recommend the mee goreng too...hehe...taste great!!!

we cleared all the stuff...and of cos...our fav pastime lar...

not shopping...hehe...at least not for tonite...

CHATTING lar...haha...after finishing the main business...which is eating...we yak yak again...haha...till the store pple come over and said...We need to clear the table top...removable one...ok lor...hehe...then we ended this gathering

wiselyn was on course for the past 2 days...so friday decided not to cook and go suntec for makan...wiselyn went to the rock and got a book called "Spiritual Parenting" by C.H. Spurgeon...yet to start to read...but seems can applied all the way till child's teen years

met up with a sept mummy to be...called irene...we went to raffles place MOS burger and chatted the evening away till 10 plus...we chatted about anything regarding pregenacy...from grandma tales...what cannot eat...what cannot do..what cannot drink...really lor...if follow...like nothing can eat or drink leh...haha...tok abt food...a common topic for the mummies and daddy in the forum...haha...where to find nice food...what is nice...haha...going home time...managed to catch the second last bus 88 from toa payoh home...hehe

Style wedding gather day...haha...morning and afternoon...we nuazing at home...haha...wiselyn cooked marconi with fish and prawns...YUMMY!!!...hehe...thanks dear for the wonderful lunch!...

Morning went chinatown...the first time after chinese new year...hiak hiak...hehe...the previous time the food stuff last a life time...hehe...partially we cook lesser...partially of wiselyn's morning sickness and rejection of some food...for example pork...hehe...we took a long time to finished 2 kg of prawns...bought before CNY...due to the possible price hike

yesterday...prepare a mental shopping list for the market trip...wiselyn's 菜单 buy some chicken, fish, prawns and vegs

went alone as wiselyn was tired...reached hougang mrt...heard a 'great' new...train services are disrupted...from serangoon and potong pasir...only have shuttle bus to habourfront only...hehe...what a way to start my market trip...well...took 147...slowly 'dun dun' down to chinatown...while on bus...managed to complete a sermon...the secert of being happy...realise the Paul learnt that is good or bad setting...had learnt to be happy through Christ....how wonderful :)

nearly 1 hour...reached the chinatown...not bad...reach about 9.30...later than usual...but...who is in control...hehe

quicken my walk to the market...thankfully that all the stuff want to buy still have...hehe

pork...the uncle and auntie very nice...said..."young man next time u can call us first...will reserve for ya"...me went ok...gratefully for much nice gestures...hehe

fish and prawns...the uncle asked me...where is wiselyn...me said at home...cos got baby hor...tired...hehe...he has the face of 'come ask me...what fish does a pregnant lady who cannot stand the smell of fish will eat'...hehe...so me asked...what fish uncle u would recommend...hehe...he sure shared...hehe...gotten 2 slices of 'red fish'...me dunno the name...hehe...wiselyn knows...prawns got 1 kg...玻璃虾...midium sized...but very nice lor...supposed to be the same kind of prawns used in Cystral Jade...hehe

next stop...buy another kind of fish...生鱼...thankfully the lady there has $6 worth of fish sliced...deskinned some more...more the better...as wiselyn cannot stand the smell of this kind of fish skin smell...

followed by chicken auntie...hehe...1 body and 10 pcs of chicken wing and mid joints...usually she will need some time...ok...me go buy vegs first...

then moment reached the veg store...the auntie shouted to the uncle...get the young man a box to hold the things...really touched...more than 2 months no go to the market...yet the people there still can recognised me...ever gratefully to them!!!...thanks uncles and aunties!

took a taxi home and unpacked...hehe...now for round 2 in the afternoon!

Round 2!!!

Went to Kovan area for makan and to bring wiselyn's pair of prefect mum pants back for some 'rectifications'...the lines in the middle came out already...hehe...we brought there expecting to pay more redone fees...but the sales lady (Niko - very nice missy) said" oh...leave the pants here...will get the seamstress to sew done...chatted a while as we are rushing for makan!!!

great food...we had satay bee hon each a plate...followed by 10 pcs chicken satay and 2 rice...hehe...nice for the satay bee hon and satay...the rice hard of hard leh...hehe...still thumbs up!!!!

went over to Daniel's shop to say hi...his shop is the bubble tea called Sweet Talk beside the Times Bakery and DJ Bakery...would not missed it one...hehe...he is not in as he opened another shop in Bedok area...hehe...only his wife and 2 aunties making the bb tea...the crowd comes in HUGE waves...hehe...as always...wiselyn and i kaypo lar...hehe...help take orders...haha

went back to the market...wiselyn said the fried prawn noodle in her impression is nice...so we had that for dinner...THUMBS UP...certainly one of the better fried prawn noodle i ever tasted!!!...opened in the evening...sundays open at 12pm

after that...we went shopping...hehe...me got 2 shirts...haha...YELLOW AND ORANGE...haha...wiselyn jokingly commented...越老越侨...thanks leh...really got to say...the more older me get...my dressings seem more colourful...just as my life is...Thank you Lord...hehe

I am back in action!

Hi all, yes it me..i am back in action..i have not been blogging for a long long time..but whatever there is to blog, clement have done most of it..

Yeah...i am suppose to share the feeling i've got during Lishan's church wedding..

It is actually the first church wedding i have attended...got me into thinking about non-christians having or wanting to have a church wedding..i guess most people have seen too much shows and movies and feel that it is very romantic to have a church wedding..but for christian, it is more then that...to them church wedding with the pastor/priest to bless them in the wedding, with their friends there sharing their joy..that is the more important...then whatever romantic feeling..

Hey, but i am getting abit off topic. Actually what i am suppose to share is : during the wedding when the pastor is preaching (sharing), i feel the first kick of my baby..and it is not once or twice..it is continous kick...when i feel it, i asked clement to place his hands on my tummy to feel it..but he cannot feel anything..but after awhile, i tell him i feel the kick again..he look at my dress and saw the movement of the dress..we are so amaze...so actually my baby love to listen to the preaching (that's what we guess)...

Well ultimately, we will let our baby decides his/her path next time...whether he/she wants to be a christian or not...

we planned to go outdoor wedding show to walk walk...hehe...third year such show...got to say every year just get better...heard this year fully aircon...to go later....hehe

in the morning we went MacDonald for breakfast...hehe...wiselyn seems to like the bagel set...me packed kopi o from downstairs and brought to mac to drink...hehe...me took a egg muffin set...nice...hehe

went home to do some ironing and time flies...abt 2pm liao...san jie and friends coming over to 'borrow' our kitchen and oven to bake cakes...hehe...lend them the kitchen we ran out liao

we went to Prefect Mum in heartland mall...wiselyn wants to get some more M wear...me called Niko to see if she is around and new designs came...both yes...haha

nice lady lar...wiselyn choose some stuff..try try...all very nice...up end all also buy...hehe...claimed to be enuff for the whole preggie...hehe

off we went to bugis area for the OWS...hehe...very nice...saw pine garden cakes boss there...saw my friends from Nanyang Canopy there...to us nothing much to see...hehe...did think that the wedding favour Bliss Collection sells very nice favours...thumbs up!

we went bugis to walk walk...then eat at pastamanic...haha...tok tok...eat eat...haha...par toh days...haha...always remember there was a TCC there...haha...no more already...

tok of chocolate in max Brenner off we go to durian shape building...end up we went to the V tea room...beside the chocolate shop...nice nice place...hehe...the pple there seems atas lor...haha...anyway we had some tea...

after that went home and zzz...haha

went to meet the regular members of sept mummies to be 07...the members who were able to go were:-

1 & 2 are primary school friends...yoki and wiselyn shared the same bridal studio...the 2 hubbies share the same kind of job...rsaf personals...5, 6 & 7 stayed in north east side...1 & 3 dun look preggie...stomach really really flat

so...happened...all of us does know each other in some ways...haha

after dinner about 10pm...usually our mtbs zzz time...haha...voice suggested a place to sit down for kopi...as we were standing outside the toilet chatting...haha

we went to NYDC as starbuck was packed...NYDC friday last order 2315...closed at midnight...so we stayed and yak yak till 2330 plus ba...haha

so much to tok...haha

the mtbs planning for a next outing to still road black pepper crab...haha...BPC...haha...first time see the short form wondering what was that...haha

no inspriration to blog these couple of weeks...being exciting though...

last weekend at a Lishan's wedding...so fast...know her that time...JC student...then they formed the clone and template friends with Lishan...wedding was 2 days...first day in church...True Way Presbyterian Church...very nice church...high celling...nice cross design...wiselyn will describe her feelings another time...

her banquet dinner was in rasa sentosa...second time we went there within six months...still a nice place...just that rather inconvience now...had a great time too...enjoyed the good food

sickly feeling the past efew days...hope not falling sick...coming friday gathering with the Sept Mummies gang...hehe

Sell cots and playpen...very level 3 selling lotsa of baby necessities...quite nice sales ladies and comprehenisve of daily wear clothes for the baby...$10 for 3

2) Baby's Hyperstore
Sell mainly prams...hehe...maclaren...sounds like some sports car like that...me and wise not impressive in this shop...unless getting baby car seats...quite messy this shop

next we hope down to taka...huge baby fair...hehe...simply hooked to the Avent store there...hehe

tok to this lady called Priscilla...nice lady...gave a superb product introduction...and the key thing no FORCE SELL...her mentality...take your time..slowly eye and ask if any question...hehe...tot of getting the stuff already...but meeting anna later...so hold back...told her will be back soon to buy the stuff...

end up no buy anything...hehe...met anna for dinner...last time met her was 8 months back...hehe...before me start my current job...fantastic lady to chat and work with...she was my informal wedding planner for our wedding and SUPERB florist lor...hehe...to those who been to our wedding...all the deco was done by her lor...hehe

dinner was at hainanese dinner place at captiol building...no crowd when we in at abt 7 plus...great...ordered food to eat...hehe...yummy lor

last sat 030307, borrowed car from auntie cos this day got to go 2 places...one in puggol...the other in sembangwang.

met up with my aunt...the three of us went to hougang mall...cant remember the name of place...everything can dun try...but can try their xiao long bao...and huo ti...very nice...hehe

dunno tok what...end up toking abt God...hehe...the Holy Spirit leads me in most unexpected situation...hehe

tok tok quite a while think...got abt 1 hour plus...hehe...time really flies when sharing :)...time to rush! :)

at puggol...my good friend royston was having his house warming...his house nicely done...hehe...also highest for the block...nice nice view...hehe...windy too!...had a great time looking at his BS and AD photos...hehe

after that...so happen on the way to Vic's place...cokelight and hubby were also on their way...exit tpe cte to go amk there to pick them up and go together...hehe...just nice

Treasure first and not later

Yesterday, went down to TTSH with my working cell group brothers to see a fellow colleague's wife who fainted during the CNY period, around on the 3rd day, with the initial diagnose as lack of oxygen in the brain.

we went abt lunch time, the doctors were discussing things in medical terms. YC check out with the nurse how is the condition, the nurse replied not too good...we prayed.

then the doctors with my colleague went into the icu room to do tests, we wait outside for about 1 hour, was a long wait...till 1.30 we went down to kopitiam for our lunch.

after a quick lunch, suggested to go up to check how is her condition.

my colleague was standing in the room. no good. she is considered brain dead.

we went in and prayed for her...

my colleague's son was brought to hospital by the teachers...the scene is heart breaking...God please have mercy for her and the whole family...Yes Lord...please hear our prayers Lord...in Jesus name we prayed...amen.

a death in a family where the first kid is not in primary school and the second child is less than a year old...we left the hospital and went back and shared the news with my boss.

will wait for further news...

To all who read this post...would take this chance to say...nothing in life is able to be predicted by man...please treasure whatever you have now...no matter how bad in financial, health, physcially, mentally state...or how minor things are...the sky is beautifully blue and not sickly black...the grass is richly green and not dried yellow...you are still better off than a lot pple...please dun grumble...be thankful of everything that are placed in your life...thankful please...

Shopping Day

Day 4 of CNY = Shopping day

afternoon went to suntec area...wise tot of getting some maternity wear...for the coming months when baby grows big...we know the area there will have a number of shops there

we first went to marina square...the kiddy palace is huge...spacious...walk walk a bit...look look see see...a couple of M wear shops around also...wise did not fancy anything nice...hehe...so we headed towards suntec area.

the mothercare shop in l2 of suntec is moving out...so there are sales lor...again nothing much there...hehe...then we walk walk towards the toys r us that area...remember there is a M wear and kids corner

upon reaching there...wise aim this shop call Cloud 9 one...we went in...the ladies there are attentive yet not pushy...wise look look...found pants she like...haha...Thank God...the ladies offered advice on getting M wear pants...suggested to us to get some nursing tops too...wise look look see see...saw 2 she liked...tried...looks great too!!!...hehe...the wear can still wear after giving birth...can see the pics below...

after that...me wanted to go to the Rock to buy the Footprint display item...wanting to buy for sometime already...just dun have the blah blah blah...so went there...oh...got 2 kinds one...haha...me and wise...sicssors paper stone lor...haha...end up me to make the call...hehe...got the smaller one...neat for our display shelf...hehe...the Rock to me is one of the more comprehensive christian bookshop around...price also good...comparable to other shops...me also got a note pad to record my bible studies notes...hehe...have to admit...me dun like to take notes lor...hehe...

the book is called God's Plan for Pregnancy...inside contains verses in the bible for mummies to be...hehe...the cd is Hillsong live worshipping...these 2 items got them in the second trip there...hehe...to be explained later...hehe

after 1st trip there...we went to millenia walk coffee bean for cafe latte...we needs some kopi to awake a bit...we went toilet...then come out is sembangwang music store...get this 5 cds love songs...$24.90....great bargain...then we went and sat down in CB and chatted a fair bit...on God of cos :) ...tot of going to mal mal shop...not opened yet...tot of going to systemind platform...also no open...haha...me went to draw some $$$...hehe...wow...still got more than me expected...haha...so want to go back to Rock for the second round of shopping...haha

we went to House of Sudanese for dinner...hehe...one of our fav resturants there...cheap (as compared to other makan places there) and good...we ordered kang gong, beef randung, grilled sotong...me added one soto ayam...loved their crackers and chilli...superb!!!

what a great day we had today!

Chinese New Year Celebrations

Time to debrief on the CNY celebrations...hehe

Day 1

went over to wise's house to wish her parents to have a great year ahead...kums exchanged lor...then wise's dad sent us down to the home my grandma is staying...supposed to meet my parents there...sat and chatted with my grandma...some of the things she said me hardly can understand...so just join in the fun lor...then my parents came...spent some timing chatting around...wise got quite a few of 'to-do' actions...hehe

after that my brother brought us to king albert park MacDonald for lunch makan...as today is day 1 of cny...not many stores are opened also...makan makan...went to my parents house to pick up a new year goodie...hehe...stewed mushroom oysters scallops...hehe...black black one...but my fav lor...hehe...wise also like it...hehe

my brother sent us home and wise is super super tired...slept from 4 plus till 7 plus...woke up still tired...me played game...hehe...then cooked simple dinner...pasta with sauce only...no meat...hehe...eat already...she had a early night too...simply tired

Day 2

today is 开年 day...to go back my parent's place for makan session...my aunt came down and we drove down to grandma there first...my aunt will see her first...after that drove my aunt's car to my parents place...zoom...

wise and me help help mum with the cooking...she whipped up a big feast for us...LOL...yummy...hehe...we ate lunch already...then borrow aunt's car to go yishun area to visit wise's third uncle's house...zoom...the good thing of having a car in cny period...haha...this is my first cny period in 3 years without vehicle...hehe...feel kind of odd :)

stayed there for a while...wise mum left the place first..then called forget to take something...hehe...forget to take sea cucumber...raw one...not dried one...hehe...zoom...wise's place...dropped the raw thingie...zoom...back to my parents place...cos my parents going for a show in the evening...then the mahjong session will switch to my sister's place...haha...me got to return my aunt her car lor...hehe

abt 7 left my parents place to go home...wise played game and got a bit of heartburn...me slept like a pig...hehe...paiseh :)

Day 3

watched this show call 新年财 starring 刘德华,梁咏琪,刘青云,古天乐 etc...it is a cny HK happy show lor...guess what is the main theme...MAHJONG!!!...this coming sat is showing on channel 8 lor...hehe

after the show...me and wise hands itchy liao...haha...end up played mj with wise's dad and sister...haha...for half of the day...they went visitation in the morning...we did not go...so MJ after that...haha

me lost $10...wise no win no lose...her sis lost abt $13...her dad won all...haha...played till abt 12am...haha...went home...me dropped down and zzz...on the sofa...haha

Spring cleaning for our house!!

Yesterday (160207) me no need to work...half day company off...half day self annual leave...hehe...so yesterday is HOUSE CLEANING DAY!!!

got to admit...since jac came to house for photo session for our house to be featured onto the 我报 did i clean our house to standard...hehe...admit me and wise...we are not that kind of clean clean pple lor...hehe...no take photos of before and after...hehe...think the before pics...will see a pig house...hehe...things all over the place...hehe

in the morning...walked with wise to work...then me went over to hougang point ntuc to buy minced beef for our dinner of beef pasta...hehe...she has a liking for that nowadays...Thank God she is eating down these few days

Reaching NTUC...hehhe...stunned with the level of crowdedness there...haha...each counter average 10-20 pple...each with trolley(like lorry)-filled of things...haha...wondering really got special pricing when near to the CNY or just pple like to squeezeeeeeeeeeeee...went to get the things wanted to buy...then q...

Q....q...q...q...after 20 mins...finally reaching my turn...haha...from this morning...learned that to go for these kind of shopping...better to be 2 persons or find some aunties there...haha...can tag team mah...a couple behind me...take turn to go change their groceries...haha...vegs not fresh...go change...went buy kums...haha...while maintain their place in the q :)...very friendly auntie greet 新年快乐...me greeted back...hey...they are human also lor!!...so in q...pls understand...we are frustrated...u think they are not meh!!

Reached home...blur liao...10 plus liao...felt the day is half wasted already...hehe...dunno what to do first...stunned...think my stun mode...also eat into the cleaning time...har!!!

Carried out the cleaning in this seqence:-

1) Hall platform...followed by display shelf.
2) Sliding glass doors and inside
3) Main door and gate...spent some time oiling the metal parts...hehe...smooth liao...haha

Lunch Break...downstairs...wanton mee...went AXS to pay some bills

4) Change sit cushions' cover
5) Clean table to wall
6) Vacumm the house

While vacumming the house...wise came home...office to close at 3pm...me continue to vacumm...she help to keep the clothes...hehe...then mop the floor...hehe...zoom...hehe

Final task...wash the toilets...haha...wise help to wash the master room one...less used...but air con water pipe there got gluely stuff...me wash the common toilet...hehe...a lot of '料'....hehe...if u know what i mean...haha

wise suggested to change the bedsheets as well...haha...ok lor...changed...we choose our wedding set...the one with 喜喜...this was bought by 姑妈...so far used once only...when we AD that time...hehe...so use this time...wise' mum called us out for dinner...haha...pasta started to cook liao...leave for lunch the next day...haha

off we go to 报喜...a nonya resturant that sells great white chicken and fish head curry...some where in the serangoon garden round about there...we had chicken, fish head, 空心菜, lettuce with otah in coconut milk, deep fried 豆腐...all great tasting except for the lettuce...the taste might not go well for the rest of us.

after that we went for bak kwa hunting...suddenly wise mum want to buy some to put at home...haha...more sqeezing??!!!...we went kovan area...no see any bk shop...then off we go to compass point...cfm there is a 美珍香...quite a snake line...hehe...abt 20 person ba...haha...quick thinking by wise..there is another small temp outlet at level 1...then we went there...没人...快快迈啊!!!...wise went veeko and got a purple dress...hehe...look girly in that...hehe

went home...we bao ang baos for the cny give out..hehe...some where me felt like pm lee like that...budget give out also...hehe...bao bao...done

wise zzz...me game...me zzz...outside sofa...then inside on bed...hehe...end of day

this date is our par toh anniversary and ROM date...par toh in 1998...ROM in 2003...always think too many dates to remember hor...hehe...ROM date engraved on our rings...hehe...so today tot of eating Jack's place in the hougang plaza there...hehe...when meet up with wise walked there...CLOSED!!!...mahjong paper all over the place....hehe...gone...bo pian liao

wondering where should we got for lomantic dinner...hehe...there is cafe cartel and soup restaurant in hougang mall...we might as well go there and eat...hehe...walk walk...see Han's...long time no eat there liao...last time par toh days always eat there...hehe

Great!...wise also ok...hehe...she ordered beef bee hoon...me ordered beef with young ginger + rice...hehe...me order the soup of the day as well...hehe...brocali soup...me find it nice...thumbs up...hehe...see the pictures...the food still taste good!!! :)

What a way to celebrate our anniversary...hehe...last one as a couple...hehe :P

After dinner...went to hougang mall to walk walk...hehe...me want to eat dessert...headed to our fav joint...美香园...me ate 黑白...杏仁胡加芝麻胡...one of my fav dessert...either can eat white or black or both combine...hehe...wise took their 汤圆...kind of sweet but the soup is superb!!!...use peanut to cook one...great taste!!!...for info...this store is the store that sells the farmer brand of peanuts...the main shop is in chinatown...cant remember the street name liao...know how to go but dunno how to tell...hehe

while eating saw bro jas walking into cafe cartel with a girl...hehe...backward go...hehe...he and i took the same train to hougang as he is meeting a girl...hehe...a target for him...hehe...the BGR chase...hehe...no wonder he dress so yan dao today...hehe...so see him walking into cafe cartel with 3 NTUC bags...hehe...at least can say he is a gentleman lor...help the lady to carry!!!...hee....加油!!! :)

today is our get together and ROM date...ask wise to be my girlfriend on this date...in year 1998...this was a friday the thirteen...confirmed...as that day reminded TAB no flying day...we had a bowling day...we ROM on 130203...my head was knocked by Mr David Low...haha

today wanted to go hougang jack's place for a nice celebration dinner...hehe...alas...went there...how come the glass are taped with white paper...closed liao...went back to hg mall for dinner...walk walk...saw Han's...wise and i long time no eat here liao...hehe...last time par toh days quite frequent there...hehe

ordered our usual makan food...hehe

me have fried beef with young ginger...plus soup of the day...brocoli...nice also...maybe hungry...but the food still taste good!!!...thumbs up!

wise had beef bee hon...as always...the been hon not cooked long enough...so tough to bite...taste wise still great...hehe...she drink the minute maid...lemonade...taste great with ice...hehe

after dinner...decided to go for desserts...went to 美香园...here sells one of the better cantonese style of dessert...hehe...me always go for black and white...meaning a combo of almond paste and sesame paste...add together become black and white...haha...can tell them 黑白 then they know already...hehe...to me taste great.

wise decided to try the 汤圆...the soup base is peanut lor...hehe...super sweet...but also very nice...in terms of the cooking style...think they blend the peanut then put inside...forget to say...this shop is famous for their peanuts!...remember the farmer brand peanut...yeah they are the maker!!!

while eating...saw brother jason...hehe...he is chasing after a gal lor...hehe...saw him helping the lady to carry 3 ntuc bags lor...way to go brother...hehe...gentleman leh...hehe...they went into cafe cartel for mum mum ba...hehe...tomolo then ask him how was the evening...hehe...we sure have some kaypo brothers in workplace...hehe

wise like falling sick...rest more...pray for her in Jesus name...she is healed...amen

a simple yet meaningful way to spend our last anniversary as a couple...hehe...well...everything will have a end...with an end will be a new beginning...yeah...

Durian Feast

as the title suggests...hehe...what else!!!??!!!...DURIANS...me still a frantic for the king of fruits...haha

today afternoon...while toking to wise on skype...suddenly we tok abt durians...hehe...the other time got 2 durians at the fruit stall near hougang mall cheers...hougang pple shd know where...a big fruit store(s)...always wonder are they partners?...hehe...that time 2 for $10...eat for kicks only...does not find their durians super super nice lor...hehe

so today...hehe...with the sudden urge to eat durians...me suggested to wise...dunno 717 have durian or not...hehe

a brief intro abt 717...it is a durian store that sells the best durians in singapore...in my opinion lar...hehe...geylang ones...forget them...out to cheat $$$...even u sit there and eat...包吃...but quality no good go back to them they tell u is like that one...pengz...被吃就有...never go there eat again...haha...so happen in our par toh days...come across this store along seragoon road towards hougang south area...beside the OCBC bank...opposite serangoon shopping centre...tried there and LOVED it...hehe...from that time on...durian sesssion comes sure go there and eat...they even have sms services one...haha

so me called them to ask if there are durians selling...as it is nar CNY...might not have...haha...Thank God...they are selling durians...ONZ liao lar...haha....told wise to cook lesser rice...want to eat durians one!!!...reminds of me of my young days...where the whole family will just eat durians plus white rice...ULTIMATE!!!

jio brother donny to try their durian puff...also very nice one...hehe...he onz...the only worrying thing now is tomolo how am i going to put in the office without putting down non durian lovers...haha...dun care so much...let donny enjoyed first...haha

after work...took 107 to the grab the durians...haha...cant wait leh...now the store is outside the 727 cafe...same one...family business...hehe...sell flowers what...where got durians...oh...once go in on my left hand side...haha...ask the 头手 how much per kg...$8 he answered...wise said to get 3 durians...hehe...then we tok cok sing song a while lor...hehe...a bit on the wet side...头手说：“好肉！！！“....me ok ok lor...ask them to pack nice nice for me to take bus home...haha...then went into the cafe to buy the durian puff...hehe...got 2 boxes...the lady FOC gave 1 chicken pie for me to try...taste great...while walking to bus stop to take 101...hehe...less than 5 mins the bus is here...hehe...Thank you Lord...small things do wonders :)...slowly the bus journey home...listening to Pastor John's current Bible study series...Breakthrough series...hehe...tots gathering time...hehe

before i know...reaching house already...hehe...quick quick eat rice first...wise dun fancy my idea of durian plus white rice...haha...shd try one day...hehe...SHIOK one!!! :)

watch 摆家乐 2...last already...bryan and mark fought a good fight...hehe...really like their designs today...mark really improved a lot!!!...his style is simple yet amazing lor...hehe...salute! :)

me wash up the bowls...then 来来吃榴莲!!!!...mai tu liao...haha

yeah...although buy 3 durians...the guy there pack nice nice one hor...hehe...wise tear the plastic that time said they pack real tight...hehe...3 for $24...worth the trip and the $$$...hehe...yummy!!!

afterall the taste is sweet first then bitter...o o la la...hehe...wise today also eat more durians than usual...haha...most of the time...less than 5 seeds...she is done..hehe...today done of us slurp half half...haha

might as well take this chance to showcase my mum's baking products...hehe...pineapple tarts and 角仔...hmm...in cantonese is called gok zai...hehe...difficult to find good ones in singapore...that is why my mum make one...thumbs up!!!...thank you mum...not easy to make hor...each one got to slowly knead the shape out one hor!!!

Early Reunion Dinner

This afternoon went out with wise for a CNY shopping...she needs to get some dress for the festival...tot of going orchard road area...as in the evening will be meeting my parents for reunion dinner at taka cystral jade.

Went to compass point for BK meal...then took NEL to change train to go orchard...wow...the crowd is a MASSIVE one...we could not board the train...argh!!!...haha...we tot...why not take bus instead...off we go at doby ghart mrt...saw a This Fashion shop...wise decided to go in and take a look...got to say...their quality of taste for This Fashion IMPROVED!!!...haha...last time the clothes...IMHO...lian style lor...now not bad leh...cheap and good!!!

wise managed to grab 2 dress...hehe...very nice on her!!

Next we headed to Plaza Singapura Wang Jiao for a cup of kopi as both of us are low on caffine fuel...hehe...we sat there and drank kopi and chat abt things in her, my and our life...hehe

Abt to leave...guess what...saw my collegue and fellow brother in Christ...Linus and gf Christina...quening for the fried pork chop thingie..hehe...chatted awhile...hehe...they are rushing to catch a movie...so no take up their par toh time...hehe...ENJOY BRO!!!

Went to take CJ abt 6pm...wise is tired already...hehe...tot of getting a table and rest and wait for my family to come...we tok tok...6.30 still bo lang come...call up my dad and ask where they are...on their way...hehe...maybe play MJ forget time liao...hehe

Soon they arrived...we had a great dinner together...shared the good news abt our baby...hehe...Thank you Lord...sat till 10plus..hehe...time to go home liao

auntie let me drive her car to sent me and wise home...hehe...get a chance to drive LOL...haha...not been drive regularly since my previous job...hehe...level dropped...haha...but anyway back home safe and sound...hehe

Informal Style Wedding Gathering in Vila'ge Heeren on 9th Feb 2007 1900 hrs.

Supposed to meet wise outside the restaurant...so waited for her outside...and make a reservation a table for 15. After 5 mins, Sharon called up...

"Hey we are inside already! Near the drinks corner"

"How come can go in when the manager outside said need 80%of the pple to be around first???"

"Well...some how they allowed us in...we are here with Alex and Denthy's friend"

ok...me and wise went in and managed to find the table...a round of introduction...sharon was there...alex was there...novia denthy's friend was there...chatted for awhile

Mabeleve and James messaged they are outside...ok...me went out...checked out the guy in the orange colour t-shirt...only then realised my t-shirt same colour as the pple there...NEAT!!! :)

We went around to grab some food already...as our stomachs are groaning...hehe...FOOD TIME!!!

Later Gabricaroline also called...where are we...hehe...ask her to stop moving...WAIT...look up the sign board...what does it reads...hehe...anyway...sharon, wise and the writer managed to located her.

Wise took the rossi with chicken sausage and me took the baked rice with ham without cheese...do without the cheesey stuff...still cant get over the gained 2 kgs...hehe

Sat down with the group and had a great dinner...Alex was sharing his AD wedding photos...hehe...very nice!!!

Did chat for awhile...Alex have to leave early as he and Caroline will be shifting house on Saturday...so got to be home to pack stuff...Mabeleve and James also want to leave as they had a long day and need some rest...the rest of us...stayed behind to chit chat some more...hehe...nothing beats a SW gathering chit chat session...hehe

TO OUR SURPRISE!!!...Mysteriously guest and hubby appeared...actually their name is Marcus and Pearl...Pearl does read the SW webby...but no join in the forums...so kind of difficult to put on the webby...so they are the mysteriously guests...hehe

Novia leave to join her friends for another round of great fun of KTV in cuppage centre...hehe...way to go lady! :)

They were just trying their luck as they were tied down with work too...bo pian...hehe...they had their great dinner...and of cos the rest of us continued to yak yak...hehe...chit chat time!!!...the gals one corner...the guys...err...the 2 of us lor...me and Marcus...well we still have a great chat...Marcus is a boss in air con maintenance business...so we share abt experience on business and being a husband :)

Soon it was time for the place to close...gosh...time really flies when in enjoying state...hehe...so we 'mai tan' and headed home...wanted to take cab and drop godma home first...end up...the streets are filled with 'On Call', 'Busy' and 'Hired'...wise is flustered and tired...bed is wha she needs at that moment...hehe...no choice...we walk walk to orchard mrt...still got one last train to take...onz!!!...three of us catch the train and align on Bishan...bide good night to god ma...and we took a cab home.

The taxi uncle also nice...chat some more...hehe...quite a relac uncle lor...what a great way to end a bless filled day!!! :)

This evening celebrated wise's mum birthday...tot of trying some thing new...she suggested to the resturant we passed by the other time...call 锦城楼...i was the earliest...saw 2 china men outside cleaning the glass...no customers inside...maybe kind of early ba...then wise sms me...get a table for 7...wondering who else is coming...so me called her...oh...helen auntie and daughter in law joining us for dinner...Thank God...she is one of wise's auntie who is very funny one...hehe

Then wise said san jie could be reaching or reached...then me called her...oh...she is on her way...then me went in for a table for 7...and waited.

Lesser than 5 mins...san jie came...share a bit of gospel with her...she not feeling well also...hehe...so no tok much...there will be a time...God plans...me follows

Wise reached...add 2 more person...wow!!...this dinner is getting bigger LOL!!!...auntie nina and hubby is coming too!!!...nice people also!...end up the china fellow want to give us a room...but got to charge 10% service charge...what the heck rite...haha...onz...we went inside

The setting of the place...reminds me of my china trip back in Oct 06...haha...the people...the deco...the service...haha...exactly the same...

Ordered their famous dish...peking duck...kong ba...some funny vegs...but nice...overall 6.5/10 lor...wise said the food taste good...me thought is good also lor...well...all taste buds different lar!!!

Took 101 headed home...time to zzz...wise and i tired liao.

Morning went church...brought a friend to church...had a long long chat...then went to The Hiding Place in Jalan Kayu...went shopping for chinese new year goodies...brought 18 kums for $12...heard from news this year kum pricing quite be higher as China output is lower...got a packet of deep fried cuttle fish with as 3 smaller packets inside...$3 plus...ok lar!

Wise was at her cousin's wedding morning events...gate crushing ba...this part left to her to update...hehe

Then in the evening we went for the makan session...for to mention the MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE'S NAME: Chris and Fiona...the place was Chief Chan at Odeon Tower...near Bras Brash Complex...the interior is very China look alike...very classic look...great!!!...the flasks they used really the old old type one lor...hehe...the stopper got cloth ones those kind...hhehe

Wise had a great time catching up with her cousins...some are young...some are parents with young kids...can really say this age of kids...really know the WEAK LINK between the parents...the weak link between the parent and the grandparents...they are no more blur blur...dunno anything...if fact they are the KING and QUEEN...hehe...of the event :)

Today was a blessings filled day...Thank you Lord.

Early in the morning 6 o'clock...always sing this song in my younger days...heheh...not really 6 o'clock lar...around 7.30am...cant sleep...think my human clock is stuck at 7.30am liao wake up.

So woke up...brush teeth...sit on sofa...think think...

Later need to change new notes...need to wash clothes...need to go shopping...new to go my parent place...so many things to do...heheh

Finally came out with this plan...

1) Put 1 round of clothes down to wash
2) Go change new notes
3) Buy breakfast for wise
4) Hang clothes and wash 2nd round of clothes
5) Iron clothes

Off i go to Hougang POSB...cos they have the nice nice package one...$500 per pack...inside has these...

1) 10 pcs x Hong Baos...of cos...empty one lor...hehe
2) 2 x CNY ornament...think is for hanging purposes
3) $2 x 100 pcs = $200
4) $10 X 30 = $300

So total $500...POSB so good hor...all the packaging and things FREE leh...hehe...the quening part...hehe...reach there 8 plus...but there is a Snake line there liao...heheh...happily join in the q lor...by the time 8.20...form a L shape long long line lor...went in the bank...was quite fast...cos they will 2 sides...1 for changing of new notes...the other for normal transactions...each one can change 1 Prosperity pack...some aunties always want to try their luck lor...can change 2 bo...hehhe...no sorry aunties...each one 1 pack only...said the bank staff ...nice try...hehe...the staff also very good...gave me a envelope to put the Prosperity pack lor...maybe scare lost it hor...then NO MORE PROSPERITY...hehe

After that...home i went and buy breakfast...eat already iron clothes...then abt 1 plus...deciding to go for lunch at Hougang Mall...off we go...heheh

We eat and walk walk a bit...took 165 to my parents place.

Normal dinner...but did share a bit on how God has change my life...my new job scope...hehhe...something me prayed for not too long ago!...Yeah!...Thank you Lord!

After dinner...chat with my parents further...great toking to them!

Then wise's parents came to pick us up with her uncle's car...cos sunday is her cousin's wedding...so her dad borrow car from uncle...ZOOM...we are back home sweet home...hehe

02/02/07 - BUSY WEEK AT WORK

Yes, it's me posting today! Clement went church, so i am all alone at home...so i blog.

It has been a busy week for me this week. It is month end again, and starting from this month onwards, i will only have two days to close...the tied dateline is choking me. Lucky BB did not give me a real hard time this week. If not, i would not know how to survive thru' this week at work.

Tommorrow is saturday, will be going over to my IL's place for dinner...and i expect my MIL to keep telling me what i am not suppose to do from now till the day BB comes to this world..i mean i cannot blame her from doing that, it is her first time being grandmother and she meant well..but i really wish i can be spare all those from her (i hope and i pray)

I am looking forward to this sunday, my cousin is wedding.wonder how different would it be compared to mine..hee hee..but i am sure it will be an enjoyable day.

Happenings for me today...

1) Woke up in the morning...0730 hrs...told wiselyn...time for me to go market...off i go after 2 pieces of the final bread...took 101 to Hougang MRT...then down to Outram MRT...went to the market there.

Shopping List

Chicken Meat (Breast area) - 2 whole pcs
Fish (Shen yu) - cost about $14
Vegs (Mixture) - cost about $24
Frogs (Tian Ji) - cost $12 for 3
Prawns (Medium size) - $14 for 2kg...a great bargain!!!

Thought of eating breakfast there...nothing seems nice to me...so just went to pack all the stuff then take cab home...The veg uncle and auntie very good...will always give the Styrofoam box for us...at least the cab will not be dirtied.

Reach home...wiselyn about to go downstairs to pack breakfast...chop chop...me no eat yet...hehe...so we keep all the food into the fridge first...then went downstairs kopi shop to eat bf...at that instance tot of Ben...hey...really saw him there...he was there to pack bf for Lena...chatted for a while...Lena's sister is preggie too!!!...Thank God...great things are happening everywhere!

Our turn to sit and eat...had fried bee hon plus fried egg plus luncheon meat...me had my Must-have kopi o...wise had teh o...after that went home to wash clothes...

Wise iron clothes this week as i will be rushing off to LG Electronic Shop at Leng Kee Road to repair her bought on 011206 Chocolate handphone...the touch screen function is down...so better bring down to repair...

See the first paragraph for the journey to Outram mrt station...this time round must change to the East West line to reach Redhill mrt station...upon getting there...there are construction outside the station...seems to be building small shops around the station...before coming of house did check the directory for the LG shop's location...roughly know where to walk...slowly walk as it is a beautiful day...windy and sunny all together!

walk walk...see the LG logo big big...hehe...quite near to the station...went in...took a q number...in front of me is a uncle...so good sight lor...cos not many pple bring their LG handphone for repair lor...hehe...my turn comes soon.

The lady asks me...what is wrong...

Touchscreen cannot use...use less than 1 mth spoilt liao...so lousy meh???!!!

Err...will sent for repair...2-3 working days.

Can repair now bo?...since it is a new phone and seems only touchscreen spoilt...far for me to journey up and down leh

Wait...She went to the back and ask the technican...ok...today after 3pm.

Ok..the time now is about 12pm...better to think of collection next week...quite be time consuming

Told wise to settle her lunch her self...me went solo walking to Ikea for some shopping...hehe

After 1 hour plus of shopping...got 2 blue colour bath mat...tot of getting for some time...cant find cheap and nice ones...hehe...then 1 rubber bath mat...just in case in time to come need to put 1 in the toilet

Tot of going to the Ikea makan place to try the meat ball thingie...see the line...argh...not in the mood to q lor

Walk a bit to the Alexander market to eat...tot of eating fried hor fun but with bee hon...once sitted...saw 2 of my former airforce colleague...David and Thomas...both were around the same batch as me...so catch up time...

David is now in Motorola...and Thomas is still in airforce...so we tok abt life in the old department....yak yak...about 2.30pm already...we parted ways...they went to shop for clothes...me slowly road march back to LG shop...hehe

Upon reaching there...the lady help to get wise phone out...changed the touchscreen module and upgrade software (scared to heard this line after my Nokia experience)...so me test the phone there...sit there and called wise using the repaired LG phone...calling ok...then play play with the phone to see will blank or not...seems ok....want to switch off and put back my sim card...err..cannot off leh...ask the technician to off...he also got problem to switch off...hmm...he said could be the switch off place...wait...he went to the back and fix the problem...then ok already...time to go home...shag out...long day outside...doing nothing...haha

wise cooked frog sha guo fun...yummy...hehe...had a great dinner!!!...thanks dear!!!

After dinner...went down to Shop and Save...get abalone...spent $10 and can get New Moon for $37.90 per can...a good bargain...LOL...wise got ribbena...tot of getting honey...found some the expiry date is today...argh!!!....wise highlight to the store manageress...she went oh...not yet expired mah!...faintz!!!...if not what...waited till pple come catch u meh??!!!...hehe

went home with 4 cans of New Moon and ribbena and Dynamo Orange bottle...hehe...happy liao...settled out parents CNY presents liao...hehe

Time to sleep...Sunday morning meeting Raymond for breakfast then go church...yuppie!...Great to be in the House of God!...Praise the Lord!

Events for 20/01/06

Today it is me posting....Still don't feel like sleeping yet, and so here i am.

Did a few things today. When to SAM and meet Steffy for ice-cream, we spend time catching up with her and break the news of my pregancy to her. After that we walk over to CHIJMES, nothing much at CHIJMES, lots of eateries and pubs.

After CHIJMES, we go Raffles City...long time no go there already. They were having some china fair there, alot of china goods. but we didn't get anything. After walking for a few rounds, we decide to go for coffee at coffee club as i am feeling tired. All was well only until after coffee...I have to visit the toliet to vomit. Luckily it is the only time for the whole day.

Clement manage to get two short sleves shirt at bossini. Nice and Cheap.

Dinner was at Lao Beijing with Sharon & Jerome. Enjoyable dinner, we chat about almost everything under the sun. And during the dinner, clement receive two calls. One was from his church mate and the other was from my MIL. She was checking with Clement how i was feeling, got vomit or not etc etc. Luckily she never call me directly...better for clement to talk to her. I mean i know she is concern lah, but me dun like her to ask and ask also lor.

Desert was at Clement's ex-colleague's (Jack)store. He sells duo hua and smoothies.I did not try the smoothies, but the grape duo hua not bad...new taste.Clement had banapina (smoothies) and Sharon and Jerome shared mango something... all say the smoothies are nice! Had a great time there chatting. And then it is time to go home.

We say goodbye to Jack and went home. Me and Clement took cab home, while Sharon & Jerome when to take bus.

Overall today is an enjoyable day.

This is my first post in the blog that belongs to me and my hubby clement. We will make use of this blog to write about us and our bb that is on the way.

He started the blog few days ago. Today he is not around, so i am doing my first post..hee hee

BB is currently abt 7 weeks 4 days old..swimming in my tummy. And BB is making me feel very very terrible (MS thru' out the day). Luckily Clement is very supportive...with his encouragment....i feel much better (thanks dear!)

My wish now is for the BB to grow well and come to the world soon...BB's godma and godpa can't wait to see BB soon also.
